Here are the only Hawaiian Cafe pictures we have. We no longer have a digital camera. Both of our cameras have broken, one purchased new 3 or 4 years ago and the other purchased used 2 or 3 years ago, so our only way of getting pictures is either by our phones, which aren’t nearly as quality as a digital camera, or through someone else taking them for us.

Keiko Ogura took these photos for us. I’m not sure if she used a digital camera or her phone.

You can usually see a large difference between ones taken with a digital camera and ones taken with a phone camera. I don’t usually like photos taken with phone cameras compared to digital cameras, but sometimes the photos from phones turn out pretty nice.

So for now, until we can afford a new camera, our photos will be few and far between, until we can get a new one.

Yesterday, we had a big day. We went to a nearby park and celebrated spring viewing cherry blossoms. It’s very Japanese to go to parks and view the cherry blossoms blooming to celebrate the coming of spring.

We had a huge group of friends from church and several students join us at the park. It rained most of the time there, but only sprinkles so it wasn’t terribly wet. We did get some sunshine here and there, but not as much as we would have liked. And because we were out in the rain most of the day, Noah, Mia and Denise are all down with colds and slight fevers today. So they are staying home from church today.

Even though most of the family is sick, we would still like to wish everyone visiting our site a Happy Easter. We hope you have a great day today and remember that Jesus not only died taking our sins to the cross, but was raised back to life three days later to overcome death and become our Savior. Praise God for forgiveness of sins through Jesus Christ!
