Today, Denise and I sang for praise and worship along with Ponga and Marie. We didn’t sing any English this time. It was all Japanese.
Today is also the last day at church for the rest of the summer for Denise, Mia and Noah because next Saturday they will fly to Hawaii and spend a little over a week with family there, then head to California for a few more weeks, then back to Hawaii before returning to Japan.
I think they might be getting out of Japan just at the right time. Soon the temperatures will rise and so will the humidity, something Denise finds very hard to deal with.
Right now, we are sitting in the car in back of the church waiting for Ponga to finish work so we can go over his house for dinner; our first time to their new house.
